Roger Ewing – President of the CCBA
It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Roger Ewing, president of the Cheshire County Badminton Association on December 21st 2025. Our thoughts will be with Margaret and the family as they come to terms with the loss of Roger.
His contribution to sport and in particular the badminton community that we all enjoy today was immense.
Many of us have enjoyed a friendship with him, some for close to 60 years .
He was a true sportsman, team member, and a loyal and great friend.
We will miss him!

Date & Time: Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 10.00am
Service: Birkenhead School Chapel, 57 Beresford Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside CH43 2JD.
This is followed by a private family only ceremony at Landican Crematorium at 11.00am
All are welcome to join the family afterwards at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Raby Mere Road, Raby, Wirral CH63 4JH
