Shuttle Stars Launched

Wirral was delighted to welcome Abbey Barry, our Badminton England regional manager and the BE team including the BE media team, to the Shuttle Stars launch event at Leasowe Recreation Centre last Friday 2nd October. Forty five local primary school children took part in the event which was organised by Active Wirral and local Schools Games Organisers. Active Wirral will shortly be organising further Shuttle Stars sessions aimed at encouraging junior players from across Wirral into the sport. Wirral Badminton was interviewed for comment on the event. Watch this space for the official BE media release.
