On Wednesday 5th July, the global badminton community will come together to celebrate our sport on World Badminton Day!

The day is an anniversary celebration of the date when the Badminton World Federation (BWF) was first established, way back on the 5th July 1934. In 2023, World Badminton Day will bring people and communities together to experience fun and inclusive badminton and we hope you and your club will mark the day and celebrate also.
We are encouraging the badminton community to celebrate the occasion, by promoting the sport to as many people as possible, encouraging them to give badminton a try.
