2023/2024 Development Fund Applications Are Now Open!
Badminton England have just announced the availability of funds for local badminton investment. As follows:
The new Badminton England Development Fund will support affiliated clubs and registered members who are looking for financial investment to grow badminton in their area. The fund can be used for projects that allow clubs to restructure, provide additional opportunities for the local community and for volunteer development.
Investment could be used for:
Facility Hire
New Sections
Gaining Premier Club Status
Community Projects
Setting up competitions
Volunteer Development
Coach Education
You can apply if you meet one or more of the criteria below:
A fully affiliated badminton club
A Badminton England Registered Coach
A Community Badminton Network
Commenting on the announcement Andy Meredith, from Wirral Badminton’s Development Group said, “This is a great opportunity for local badminton projects to invest and gain support to help the future of the sport in this area. We are currently working to create Junior sessions at local sports centres so this is a timely announcement by Badminton England.”
